Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of dode.pet and the purchase of DODE products. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
The product
DODE is a smart pet tag comprising a laser-engraved stainless steel disc and an associated digital service hosted at dode.pet. The digital service includes an owner portal, SMS alert system, and GPS location sharing. The digital service is provided free of charge with every tag purchase, with no subscription or recurring fees.
Made to order
Every DODE tag is made to order. Your unique QR code is generated and engraved specifically for your tag. Orders cannot be cancelled once engraving has begun.
Digital service
We will make reasonable efforts to keep the dode.pet service available at all times. However we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and accept no liability for losses arising from service downtime.
SMS alerts depend on the finder's phone having mobile signal and a working camera. GPS location depends on the finder allowing location access on their device. We cannot guarantee these conditions will be met in every situation.
Your data
Your personal details entered into the owner portal are stored securely and used only to operate the DODE service. We do not sell your data to third parties. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
Intellectual property
All content on dode.pet including the DODE name, logo, and design is owned by DODE and may not be reproduced without permission.
Limitation of liability
DODE is a tool to assist with pet recovery. We accept no liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from a pet going missing or not being recovered, whether or not a DODE tag was in use at the time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
